Speed Limit: The speed limit throughout the Resort is 12 MPH.
Vehicle Regulations: Motor vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes or lubes, are not permitted within the Resort.
Sewer Hook Up: Sewer donuts are required. You can purchase sewer donuts at the Reservations Office.
Parking: One RV plus one vehicle per site maximum. Parking must be on your site or in the designated parking (this includes tow dollies). NO PARKING ON THE GRASS. Golf carts and motorcycles must be parked on the patio or parking pad.
Utility Trailer and Car Dollies must be parked in the designated parking area and must be registered at the registration office.
Bicycles/Tricycles: When used within the Resort after dark, lights and reflectors are required.
Skateboards are not permitted at any time within the Resort.
Rollerblades are permitted but may not be used on Carolina Drive, Briarcliffe Lane, Park Avenue and Waterfront Way for your own safety.
Camp Fires: City ordinance does not permit fires on camp sites. In addition, we do not allow fire pits, firebowls, chimeneas, etc.
Tents, tarps or canopies are not permitted.
Screened rooms: Only manufactured screened rooms attached to your RV are permitted and must be kept on your site’s paved area.
Storage units and appliances are not allowed outside of unit.
Clotheslines and whirligigs: Attached solely to the rear of your RV are permitted. A collapsible clothesline is also acceptable if kept on your concrete pad.
Washing RVs or vehicles: Obtain a permit at reservations. Fees: $10 Motorhomes and RVs, $5 for Trucks, Vans and Cars.
Garbage is not to be left on site or placed in the public building receptacles. Tie securely in plastic bag and place in dumpsters. Do not put garbage on ground if dumpster is full. Please find another dumpster.
Recycle: Special containers are available for aluminum cans, newspapers and plastic.
Solicitation: No solicitation of products, crafts or services in the resort.
Golf Carts, boats and jet skis: Must be registered at the Reservations Office with proof of insurance.
Drivers of vehicles, golf carts & motorized scooters must posses a valid driver’s license. If an unlicensed driver is caught operating a golf cart or scooter, they will be charged a fine of $25. The second offense will result in the banning of the golf cart for a 12 month period (from date of offense).
Pools Rules: Pools Hours are 10am to 9pm. No lifeguard on duty. No children allowed without parent or guardian. See complete list of rules posted at pool.
Pets: Pets must be on a leash. Pets are not allowed in buildings, pool or recreation areas.
You must pick up after your pet. Fines are issued for non-compliance. Do not walk dogs on occupied sites or private lots. Do not leave pets unattended outside of RV.
Squirrels do not feed the squirrels. You will be charged a non-compliance fee of $25 is you are seen feeding the squirrels.
Noise: Quiet hours – 11pm to 7am. All children and teenagers, 16 years and under, must be on their campsites by 11pm unless they are accompanied by parent or guardian.

Use of alcoholic beverages by minors.
Use, possession, and/or sale of illegal drugs.
Public intoxication in the Resort, including disturbance of the peace and violation of Resort rules.

Gate Card Deposit Refunds
To receive your gate card deposit refund, you must return your gate card and receipt at check out. If you place your gate card in the drop box located at our exit, you will be mailed a refund of $9.00.
Hurricane Season (June – November)
During a mandatory evacuation, Briarcliffe will issue credit for nights paid for, but not used. The credit will be good for one year. You will not receive a refund.
